True copy Authentication

Why True Copy?

Processing Scans of Original Documents

While processing the original document is always preferred, sometimes it is not possible due to the document type, your situation or timeline. Our team will review your document and recommend the fastest most economical processing option based on your document type and country of use.

What Is True Copy Authentication?

True Copy Authentication verifies that a copy of a document is a complete and accurate reproduction of the original. The copy is certified, notarized, and then authenticated through the appropriate government authorities so it can be legally recognized abroad.

True copy authentication is commonly used when:

  • Original documents must be retained
  • Authorities accept certified copies instead of originals
  • Speed or logistics make original submission impractical

Our team confirms whether a true copy is acceptable for your destination country before processing begins.

Our True Copy Authentication Process

1. Document Review & Acceptance Check

We review your document and confirm that a true copy is acceptable for the country where it will be used. This step prevents rejections and ensures compliance from the start.

2. Certified True Copy Preparation

A copy of your document is printed and a custodial certificate is generated stating that it is a True Copy of the original document as given to us by the document’s custodian.

3. Notarization

The certified true copy is notarized in accordance with state and international authentication requirements.

4. Authentication or Legalization

Depending on the destination country, the document is processed through:

  • Apostille issuance (Hague Convention countries), or (1-2 Business Days)
  • Full legalization, including state (1-2 Business days), federal (Up to 12 Business Days), and embassy or consulate authentication (~7 Business Days) for non-Hague countries

5. Secure Tracking & Complimentary Scans

Every order includes real-time tracking and complimentary secure digital scans of your authenticated documents for your records and immediate use.

6. Prompt Delivery
